The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)

is one of the largest, non-profit,  volunteer sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

Lake Erie Consists of the twenty two (22) Northern Ohio Counties of Ashland, Ashtabula, Belmont, Columbiana, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Jefferson, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Seneca, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawus and Wayne.


May 18-21, 2012 Cleveland, Ohio

Lake Erie District holds a National Qualifier that is completely seperate from the rest of Ohio.  Any Club team from the 22 counties must participate in the Lake Erie National Qualifier in order to represent Lake Erie (Norther Ohio District) at AAU Nationals.  Any Organization that fails to participate in the Lake Erie District Qualifier will be prohibited from participating in AAU Nationals.
